Massage Therapy
Swedish Massage
Swedish Massage is generally wellness oriented. It utilizes several basic strokes applied to the soft tissue of the body with light to moderate pressure using a slow, rhythmical and repetitive manner, which evokes a relaxation response.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is a therapeutic treatment used to relieve pain and chronic stress patterns. It focuses on specific areas applying slower strokes and more direct deep pressure or friction to the deeper layer of muscle tissue.
Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release is the stretching of the fascia. The stretch is guided by feedback verbally from the client and/or what the therapist feels from the client's body. Small areas of muscle are stretched at a time and the movement is very slow as the therapist waits for the release.
Thai Massage
Thai Massage is a blend of yoga, massage and acupressure. The focus of the work is on stretching the joints and muscles.
